School Learning and Teaching

There is now a school learning and teaching website

It is meant to be a resource for the whole school covering:
  • Funding opportunities
  • What people are doing in the school
  • Issues for the school.
What is on it and where we go with it and I would appreciate your views.

Funding Opportunities with the Centre for Excellence in Professional Placement Learning 2009

The Centre for Excellence in Professional Placement Learning (Ceppl) at the University of Plymouth is pleased to announce that its Innovations Fund has gone national. Funding is available to support small-scale learning and teaching projects associated with enhancing placement or practice learning. The Centre is inviting bids of up to £7,500.

Funding is available to colleagues from any discipline in Higher or Further Education, or in practice, with responsibility for supporting learners on placement. If you or your colleagues have an idea for a project which could make a difference to students, teachers, mentors or end users then we would welcome an application for funding. We are happy to accept individual or team applications. The closing date for funding is 6th of March 2009.

For further information on Ceppl funding, please visit our website at http://www.placementlearning.org/funding.cfm
