More Nominations: Girls into Engineering Event

The Girls into Engineering Event for Year 8’s in National Science Week has been shortlisted with three other institutions for the  Best Engineering Event Award.  This event is expected to attended by 110 girls and their teachers.

Nominations

The University of Northampton has been nominated for three top awards at the annual Times Higher Education Awards this year. One of which is Most Innovative Teacher for Jonathan Adams, School of Science and Technology. The ceremony takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Thursday 25 November. 

Three members of staff and one student (Mariam Razak)  within the school have been nominated to serve of the committee of the Northampton Branch of  the BCS.


The school has also been nominated in the Inspiring Achievement Awards from Connexions Northamptonshire on 3rd November 2010.
